Enjoying my Canon Powershot G6 recently but mostly I still end up taking out the Fuji Finepix F30 cause of its size.

Been trying out some High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography techniques with some success, before I discovered what the Auto Bracketing function on my camera did I was having to manually change the exposure settings meanwhile the camera is shaking about causing problems with the alignments later on (must get tripod..).

I am happy with HDR shot of St Giles Cathedral it turned out quite nicely.

Dad has lent me his Canon EOS-1 Digital. It’s a professional camera which can take up to 8 frames per second which is really nice for sports photography.

It’s pretty bulky to carry around took some shots up Blackford hill with it today but it’s pretty gloomy in Edinburgh at the moment so lighting wasn't so good. The pictures are a bit blurry probably camera shake cause its heavy to hold or I need to play around with the settings some more.

My understanding of photography has improved a lot and starting to get the hang of all the terminology, just need more practice taking good pictures.
