Been waiting for ages for the parts to come back into stock for Dell to do a repair on my studio 1747. The parts being a new motherboard, heat sink and fan.
The engineer came round the other day to fix it and everything seems to be fine now. No clicking noises and the laptop doesn't seem to overheat as easily as before.
It's a great Laptop and would recommend it so long as your lucky enough to get one that works! Anyway I am happy for now that I can start using my laptop finally but time will tell :)
